Certification
1. What are we providing?
Interested in testing your IPv6 knowledge? Want to demonstrate your mastery of IPv6 integration expertise? Now is your chance! Nephos6 (www.nephos6.com), in collaboration with the IPv6 Forum, is proud to offer the opportunity for engineers to prove their domain expertise in IPv6 through certification.
At this year's gogoNET LIVE! event, Nephos6 will be hosting certification testing. For those wishing to participate in the process, a special room is being provided where participants can take the exams online.
2. What are the opportunities for participants?
IPv6 Certified Engineer - Silver (free)
IPv6 Certified Engineer - Gold (fee required)
3. How should you prepare?
Study! The test is not overly difficult. They are designed to affirm the level of IPv6 knowledge you've accumulated. But it does assume you know IPv6, and the other technology it impacts. Some hands on experience will certainly increase the odds of certification.
Exam registration slots are in provided in one hour increments starting November 13 from 10 - 4 PM and November 14th from 10 AM until 3 PM. Due to a limited number of exam sessions, pre-registration is encouraged. You may request at reservation by sending an e-mail to certification@nephos6.com.
4. What do I have to do?
Both the Silver and Gold certifications are being offered. Applicants take the Silver examination first, which consists of approximately 50 multiple choice or true/false questions. A score of 70% or better is required to pass. If an applicant successfully completes the Silver certification exam, and wishes to obtain their Gold certification a 20% discount is being provided at the gogo6 event. The discount will apply for 30 days after the event.

5. How do I sign up?

You must bring a laptop in order to take the exam.
6. If successful, what will you receive?
If exam takers are successful, they will receive the following items:
1. Certificate
2. Nephos6 "IPv6 Forum Certified" pin
3. Registration in the IPv6 Forum "Certified Engineer" database
